Happy weekend lovely readers. This was our first full week in a while and I don't know about you but it felt as if it dragged on forever! So really and truly TGIF! What are your plans? I am looking forward to our Sunday lunch on Sunday - we are all back in town so it will be a full one - with some added friends, as I explained to them, "it's a big family day, under the trees, with wine, babies, loads of food and even more talking over each other."

Happy weekend lovely readers. What are your plans for the weekend? Here in Johannesburg it is well and truly autumn... I love it! The leaves are changing from bright green to glorious bronze and in the mornings there is a crispness to the air that brightens the eyes. In the evenings I love the smell of wood burning fires in my suburb, for me that scent is the definite sign that winter is on it's way.

My new year's resolution this year was to try at least one new recipe every single week. So far both have been from Jamie Oliver. The first was his famous Bolognese and second was Jool's favourite pasta - both are now on our 'repeat' list!

I am officially in the mood for summer thanks to the most amazing summer bash I attended in Cape Town. Mr Price decided to throw a bash to celebrate the start of summer, it was fantastic! Think bunting and fairy light over load, pop up dress store, ice cream stands and food trucks (from the Neighbour Goods markets). We sipped on champagne, took selfies, a band played and models danced. It was too much fun! Oh and they has a flower wreath making stand and a giant blow up swan in the pool. This party can only be described through pics, so take a look. Want to see more, search the #tag #mrpmysummer and you will have serious fomo. Can you tell that I am over excited? 

And now I am in for a fun filled, party happening weekend. Tonight id our Grazia party which also involves food trucks and cocktails. Tomorow morning I have a baby shower and then the hisbands wrap party - yes! He is finally finished filming, and on Sunday we have a Christmas tree decorating ceremony at the parents.

Oh my goodness this weekend has come! It is action packed for me: the husband arrived home (after 2 months away) last night and so we are on our staycation! Today is my friend's wedding, tomorrow is my, wait for it, 10 year high school reunion (oh my!) and on Sunday we are celebrating Bailey's birthday under the tress at my parents, a usual Sunday for us!

Happy weekend! I need to sleep, I did of those day trips to Cape Town yesterday and although I spent the afternoon looking over Clifton I am exhausted. What are you up to? I am taking Ernest to training, terrified, we have missed the last three weeks! And I have a catch up lunch with a girlfriend, I can't wait. Of course I will also be spending as much time as possible with the twins. And maybe I will bake, sounds busy I know.

Happy weekend! Im feeling sorry for myself because the husband left thins morning for the Karoo, which means 2 months until he comes home and I can kiss him. A lot of my married friends say I am lucky to 'have a break' - in a nice way - but the thought of it is only nice because it isn't happening to them. I don't really want a break. Anyway, such is life! 

If you are anywhere near social media you would know that it is well and truly snowing in the Cape (even on Table Mountain, WTF?) which means gone is our spring weekend, the cold weather is definitely blowing in, so much for a long lazy weekend with babes and dogs outside! Tomorrow I am going to a lunch at a friends house - I guess it will be warm coats and hot fires, which are quite nice too.
