I am officially in the mood for summer thanks to the most amazing summer bash I attended in Cape Town. Mr Price decided to throw a bash to celebrate the start of summer, it was fantastic! Think bunting and fairy light over load, pop up dress store, ice cream stands and food trucks (from the Neighbour Goods markets). We sipped on champagne, took selfies, a band played and models danced. It was too much fun! Oh and they has a flower wreath making stand and a giant blow up swan in the pool. This party can only be described through pics, so take a look. And now I am in for a fun filled, party happening weekend. Tonight id our Grazia party which also involves food trucks and cocktails. Tomorow morning I have a baby shower and then the hisbands wrap party - yes! He is finally finished filming, and on Sunday we have a Christmas tree decorating ceremony at the parents.

1 month until christmas

Can you believe it is one month until Christmas? I cannot believe it! But Christmas is beyond my favourite time of year. I love present wrapping and tree decorating, I love turkey and ham, twinkle lights, and gift guides... it is all really too much for me. (A little secret: sometimes I get slightly depressed on the 26th because I know I have to wait an entire year until Christmas again!)

This year I am hosting our family Christmas eve dinner at our house! Pressure! Of course I have started thinking of tablescapes already, one of my ideas is to go natural, wood, green and of course some glitter... here are some inspiration shots, what do you think?

Hello lovely readers! I am sorry I have neglected you the past 2 days, no excuse but I have been traveling for work which just took up too much time!

I am excited for this weekend, mainly for two reasons: 1) It is the annual Food Wine Design fair which is one of my favourite Joburg events of the year. And 2) It's my first anniversary on Sunday. Wow! Already a year, we made it!
