Fourth of July

Thursday, July 4, 2013

The ultimate summer holiday in America falls flat bang in the middle of the Southern hemisphere winter. And although Jo'burg's winter has thus far been a not-so-wintry-winter, it's always a little indulgent to mentally dive into the season that the other half of world is embracing.

Fourth of July was always one of my favourite American holidays (see July 4th 2010, 2011 and 2012) and I wish all my readers from the US a great day filled with wonderful summer things.

Bright beach towels; swimming; fun hair dos; balmy outdoors; strawberries and angel food ice-cream; the perfect stripey T; Soludos summer classics; bright and breezy whites; pomegranate ad basil gin cocktails
