We have been back from our trip to India for almost two weeks and it now seems but a dream of midnight rickshaw rides, freshly squeezed lime juice, throbbing streets and sweltering heat, the sweetest lassis in all the land and flying peacocks and swimming monkeys, madness, chaos, camels and cows, and curries that make your taste buds tingle and ancient palaces and crumbling temples, and millions of people...
It is hard to capture the experience of travelling to a new place. You can't quite describe that hair-raising feeling of near misses on highways, or the way your breath was taken away when you first saw at the Taj Mahal through a misty morning haze, or riding on the back of a motor bike zipping through the streets of an old town, or the way the boiling chai tea burnt your lips as you sipped out of less-than-clean clay cups. Even photographs can't seem capture the incessant hooting on the streets or calls to prayer, the pungent smells and glorious tastes.
While I am still am still sorting through our 2374 photographs, here are ten Instagram pics we took...
