This entire blog is dedicated to Mick Jagger. That is pretty cool. What is even cooler is young Mick Jagger himself. Step back in time, check out these pics and have a great Friday!

Happy weekend!

Get up and dance!

Always a sign that a new season has begun: Refinery29 launches their new playlist! For those of you not in the Southern hemisphere, these Spring tunes will get you going on those chilly Autumn mornings. Their choice of songs is always surprising (in a good way), quirky and fresh and I find it a great way to discover new music that makes you want to hit the repeat button. This season includes the likes of Memory House, Jonsi, Local Natives, Neon Indian and Alicia Keys. Download it FOR FREE, here.

56 days to go!

{Side view mirror flags being spotted all around town}
And the 5th phase of ticket sales kicks-off! Previous only available online, tickets can now be bought at FIFA Ticketing Centres and various FNB branches around the country. So far I am going to one game: Nigeria versus Argentina at Ellis Park. I really want to go to a game at Soccer City so I had better join the crowds and get queuing!

Tiger post-scandal

Tiger Woods is back in the public. His return to golf saw him coming tie 4th in the Masters and I am very pleased he did not win. His first non-golf post-scandal appearance is in the form of his fist post-scandal Nike ad. In the commercial, Tiger is questioned by his late father as he stares, woefully, into the camera: "I want to find out what your thinking was, I want to find out what your feelings are, and, did you learn anything?"

I understand Nike's predicament: do they abandon one of their star endorsers or do they bring out an ad to try and address the issue? They clearly went with the latter. I personally think it's wrong to bring Tiger back into adverts and make money from his actions. If he still has apologizing to do, and I have no doubt he does, then a corporate platform is not the place to do it.
