Happy weekend readers. What are you up to? I am excited to just relax and be at home (I have been in Durban all week for work). I do have an engagement party at Cube which I am uber excited for: I cannot wait to taste Cube's take on canapes!

London Town

I am off to London today, for two and a half weeks. And I am so excited! Although I am going for work, I can't wait to be back in a big city, getting lost amongst the wonders that you can find around any given corner. And to catch up with friends I haven't seen in an age. And to shop. And to try new things. Oh the joys of travel.

This home's guest suite and spa house set in the mountainside of Hout Bay, Cape Town, is all sorts of amazing. Although not my style if I were to build a place in that spot (one can dream right?) but if I was a guest there I don't think I would ever want to leave.

A taste of Stanford

Good morning lovely readers. Did you have a good weekend?

Because we were away again I feel like I hardly have any time to catch up on anything. Hence I am doing a post on a mid-February weekend we spent in Stanford for a wedding. We hired a big old farmhouse on a nearby and filled it with friends, food and wine. We didn't get to spend too much time in the little town (with one paved road!) but a Saturday brunch and a bit of strolling around revealed a sweetness so appealing I am sure we will return (even just to eat at the famous Marianas and Graze!).

Weekend I love

Another weekend, another trip to Cape Town. This time to celebrate Rose and Dylan's wedding at Rockhaven Farm in Elgin.We are staying in a little cottage on a farm near the venue and I am hoping I get some time to take a long walk through the apple orchards (and of course lots of moves on the dance floor).
