Guest Post: Anthropologie, I heart you
Wednesday, September 7, 2011
This is the last of my London posts. I was super excited to visit Anthropologie on Regent Street. Bailey has always bought us beautiful gifts from the store in New York and I was excited to see the store for myself. Here some of the pics I took:

GANDHI’S TOP 10 FUNDAMENTALS
FOR CHANGING THE WORLD
{via here}
1. Change yourself.
2. You ...are in control.
3. Forgive and let it go.
4. Without action, you aren’t going anywhere.
5. Take care of this moment.
6. Everyone is human.
7. Persist.
8. See the good in people and help them.
9. Be congruent, be authentic, be your true self.
10. Continue to grow and evolve.

I am loving Levi's Go Forth campaign. The copy is powerful, the visuals are striking, and it makes me want to go out and do something.
And yes, it does make me consider buying a pair of Levi jeans.
Check out this cool Levi's billboard I saw in NY.

Two years

Happy anniversary to my one and only!! (I can't believe it's been two years already. Somehow it feels like yesterday and a hundred years ago all at the same time.) Oh my, how I would love to have that night all over again...
I love the professional pictures taken by the uber-talented and super cool Christopher Munton. But I think my favourite pics of the day were the Polaroids taken by various members of the family (I had stocked up on film when they were still around). I keep them in a small box wrapped up with a huge ribbon. This is one of them and here's another.

Love weekend
Friday, September 2, 2011
I only have half a Friday at work today (YAY!) as we have a wedding this evening a few hours outside of Johannesburg. The husband is taking me away for the night on Saturday to celebrate our second wedding anniversary (!!) so a fun two days lies ahead.

And here are some posts from around the web:
If you are a man who likes good style, or if you are a girl who likes men's clothing and good style, you'll like Mr Porter
Watch this clip of the Sky Cowboys, the iron-workers building the top floors of One World Trade Centre in NY (just watching them at those heights gives me the shivers!)
These mini worlds created by 7 artists are so fascinating (I like miniature things)
These cosy pajamas would make perfect lounge wear (Ps. Don't you love the name? La Ninna Nanna which is Italian for lullaby)
Laura Lombradi's winter/fall collection 2011 is perfect casual-chic (and would also be good for looking stylish at home)
Bored of your hairstyle? Change it up for the new season with one of these 30 do-it-at-home styles
Taylor Swift's (I know, I know) rocks a vinatge holiday look that makes me want to buy a full-length swimming costume and a head scarf to match
This video of vacation in Brazil makes me want to do three things: 1) Go to Brazil, 2) Travel anywhere, and 3) make a cool video of my next trip
That's all for now!
Have a glorious weekend.
xoxoxo
