{MIA swinging over Manhattan, by Ryan McGinley}

Wow this week flew by! What are you up to this weekend? This time last year the husband and I were heading of to New York but alas, this weekend we are staying put in Johannesburg. We will be celebrating Rose's birthday tomorrow night at La Cucina Di Ciro (an old favourite in our neighborhood).

And here's my weekly round up of links:
A touching video on the power of words
If I lived in Cape Town I would want to live in this apartment
These cinemagraphs fascinate me
A hammock + book + river + weekend = bliss
Finding art in unexpected places
Edible USB Flash Drives - I am not sure if I want a chicken bone sticking out the side of my computer but the hamburger is quite sweet
I am loving this colour at the moment
This sleeping bear makes me giggle
For those ladies that rock rompers in summer (I heart mine!), this is useful information
I love that Picasso had a pet goat

Have a good one sweet potatoes!

Lovely plates

I have a whole wall of plates in our apartment. I would love to add one of these to my collection.

I don't own a bike

But if I did I would like this hand-painted wood grain bike

This soft-ride bike with steel tires is also pretty amazing

And if I were to venture into bike-riding, I would like this poster of The Beauteous Bike Lanes of New York City

And this one, about life in general
