I came across this great website I am an artists/designer that functions as a an online exhibition showcase and salesroom featuring artists and designers from around the world. It's kind of like Etsy for artists. While I could probably feature every one of them for their creativity  and uniqueness, it was Barbara Dierolf that caught my eye this morning for her colourful creations.

I cannot believe I have not posted any of my India pics yet and now as I sit in the office I am dreaming of the peaceful holiday that feels far further than 3 months ago...

Jo'burg is experiencing the most wonderful almost-the-end-of-summer hot days. Lara Stone for Vogue China, March 2011, by Inez and Vinoodh captures this feeling completely. While sitting at work in my nude tea dress I am completely inspired by these gorgeous bright colours.

Just now I am popping down to Parkhurt to see Milli and have a sneak peak at the MeMeMe sale. MeMeMe was always a Cape Town treat on our sister day trips from Stellenbosch to the city and I am excited for this store to finally have arrived in Joburg (and just down the road from us sisters).

Weekend read: I have finished Ingrid Betancourt's Even Silence has an End, about her 6 years as a hostage in the Columbian Jungle... I read it from cover to cover in less than week. But if you need something to read at your desk, here is a great interview with Garance Dore.

The living room

The husband and I might, might, might be buying an apartment (holding thumbs!). These clean, classic, textured spaces are giving me wonderful inspiration for our living area (we can dream can't we?).
