New year's resolution: 1

I love the start of a new year - that clean-slate feeling that the world is, once again, your oyster. Amazing how the change in a date can cast off shadows and bring in new light. Even the ritual of filling in a new red moleskin diary (yes, I am a nerd) is rejuvenating!

I am a sucker for new year's resolutions and one of mine is to bring in more creativity in my every day life (this will hopefully include painting + writing, even just a bit.) On that note, I am totally inspired by this illustration by Alexey Kurbatov (via here). If you can't buy it, make it!

First day back...

First of all, I want to wish you all a wonderful 2011! And thanks to Cheska for guest blogging (I always love her posts) for the first week of January.

I am back in the office, physically, my my mind is definitely still on a secluded beach in Mozambique...
