I am sure these ideas will change and grow but it's my start to a new year. A new decade. It is storming in Jo'burg right now, one of those epic electric stroms the highveld is known for. It's a good sign of things to come.

It's a wet and cold day in Johannesburg. And suddenly I cannot wait for Mozambique! Sun, seafood, family. Sigh.

While I cannot quite see an entire wall of horns in our apartment (although I do love the walls above), the item I was most excited about unpacking from my NY shipment was the porcelain head of a little deer. It is up in our entrance hall. Safe and sound.
