A Windhoek Wedding

Happy Monday! Continuing my month of love posts, today I am featuring the wedding we went to in Windhoek at the end of last year. It was a beautiful occasion where could literally feel all the love that had gone into making it the perfect day to reflect the bride and groom, Lora and Llewellyn.My favourite were all the personal elements, like the flowers done by the bride and her mom and the vintage lace dress, and the traditional elements such as silver place settings and a waltz for the opening dance. Sending hundreds of wish lanterns into the night's sky added to the magic.

Well done you two!

Love weekend

This photograph was sent to me last night by one of my favourite people, Aynsley, all the way from Canada. Aynsley was one of my first friend's in NY, which, if you've ever moved to a big city not knowing a soul, you will know means a lot and will bond you for life (even if you do live ridiculously far apart). Her man took this picture for her (romantic!) on the streets of Toronto.

Wedding invitation

The husband and I are going to Anine and Johan's wedding this weekend and I want to share the gorgeous invitation. I particularly love the logo they designed, incorporating their initials, J and A. It certainly sets the tone for a fantastic evening ahead. Can't wait!

Month of love

While not everyone may celebrate Valentines Day, everyone can celebrate love. This month I will be getting up close and personal to all things love-inspired - from cheeky underwear and red lipstick to old fashioned love letters, weddings and sweet gift ideas.
