Happy weekend!

It's the time of year when pretty much the whole world is experiencing great weather. In the southern hemisphere we are holding on tightly to the end of Summer and our friends in the northern hemisphere are welcoming in the start of Spring. So where ever you are, I hope you get outside this weekend, get some fresh air and smell the new buds (or turning leaves).

Rose and Dylan

At the beginning of March one of my wonderful friends, Rose, got married to her man, Dylan. Rockhaven Farm in Elgin provided the perfect setting for a day of friends, family and love.The ceremony took place in an open-air lake-house, followed by celebratory drinks (and delicious snacks!) over looking the dam. We then moved into a large, modern barn lit up with hundreds of fairy lights, long tables, hearty food and bright red place settings with a love poem for each guest. Le sigh.

I'm back!

Hello lovely readers. I arrived back in Johannesburg yesterday and I have to say that there is certainly no place like home.

Thank heavens it is Friday, really and truly! This has been one hell-of-a week. What are you up to now that it is finally the weekend? I am off on a romantic bush break with the boyfriend, think night time fires, star gazing and long walks through the bush. I cannot wait!
