A late Monday post as I have just got home from a weekend away but I wanted to share these pics (I got up close and personal with a hippo on Sunday) and wish you all a wonderful week!

Guest Post: Happy Weekend
Friday, October 28, 2011
HAPPY WEEKEND. I am happy to say I haven't got much planned. I am excited to take time out for a little r&r.
Here are some fun things to get you through the rest of Friday:
I am obsessed with iced popsicles, see my shoot on the ELLE SA site (ps. Do you like the new look?)
How cute are these prints? I think my favorite is the duckling and the ape.
There is a new restaurant in Parkhurst called Leopard, I tried it on Wednesday with the parents. The food is delicious. Here is what Dion Chang has to say about.
Look at all these chairs. Love.
My favorite street style blog at the moment.
All you need is love.
And because we are still overly obsessed with Honor Elizabeth, here she is at 10 months.

New Museum
Wednesday, October 26, 2011
The New Museum in New York is a landmark in the LES, not only because of its iconic architecture but also because the changing displays outside. "Hell Yes" graced its exterior for the entire time I lived in the city but upon my return I noticed the giant rose.
What got me thinking about the New Museum today is the exhibition currently on display. Carsten Holler has transformed the museum into a grown up playground (via here)! What a wonderful way to inspire the child within (read this lovely blog post on being a kid again).
Mirror Carousel
Upside down goggles
Weightless Floating Tank
Slide running from 4th floor to 2nd floor (how much fun!)
Guest Post: Soak in a tub like this
Imagine having such a luxurious bathroom! sigh.
Love the map!
Monochrome obsession
Loving subway tiles right now
Super stripes
Flowers and dogs
That copper bath! That giant pic!

Tuesday's thought
Tuesday, October 25, 2011
Someone let me in front of them in the traffic this morning. This is not a rare occurrence but it is always makes me think how nice those people are. So here is a thought to inspire more "niceness" (such a plain word but actually quite nice).
What's for breakfast?
Monday, October 24, 2011
I begin my day with green tea and a bowl of Swiss muesli soaked in hot water, covered in fresh bananas, blue berries and strawberries. (This is on weekdays only, on weekends I am an eggs, bacon and deliciousness kind of girl, which often includes a brioche laden with mascarpone).
What do you eat to start your day? Can you imagine having these designer cereals for breakfast!

Monday's Movie
This movie looks fantastic.

What are your plans for the weekend?
Have a lovely one sugar dumplings xoxo
It's my birthday tomorrow - which means, it's birthday weekend (culmination of a birthday month and week). It shall begin with dinner at the newly opened Leopard in Parkhurst (and judging by the delight I had there for breakfast last weekend, this will be a culinary delight). Saturday will begin with the surprise kitchen tea for this lovely lady at La Cucina Da Ciro, and will end with a little partay chez moi. We'll end the weekend with a family lunch on Sunday. Can it begin already!!!
