It's a wet and cold day in Johannesburg. And suddenly I cannot wait for Mozambique! Sun, seafood, family. Sigh.

While I cannot quite see an entire wall of horns in our apartment (although I do love the walls above), the item I was most excited about unpacking from my NY shipment was the porcelain head of a little deer. It is up in our entrance hall. Safe and sound.

Namibia

Deserted roads, miles of silence, skies of stars, endlessness. We drove from Windhoek to Damaraland, then to Sossusvlei via Swakopmund. Trip of a lifetime- I loved it!

It is hard to describe one's own wedding but I could not have asked for anything more than to be surrounded by the people I love, in a place that I love, marrying the one I love.
